Have you ever had an x-ray or MRI? We will be learning about electromagnetic radiation and how these medical procedures use light rays.

In the next few weeks we will be learning about tissues, organs and organ systems. This unique article surfaced in September 2013 describing how a man grew a nose on his forehead to replace one that was damaged in an accident. This technology is being used to create new tissues. Please read the article and decide if you could live with having a nose or an ear grown on your body in order to replace a damaged part. If not, what would be the alternative solution for you?
